WE’RE HEARING MORE AND MORE ABOUT TENSOR THREADS. ARE THEY JUSTIFIED?<\/p>

The aesthetic market has allowed new techniques to emerge and thus to evolve the range of non-invasive medical treatments dedicated to facial rejuvenation. Despite being used for many years in aesthetics,\u00a0threads are back in the spotlight<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0with an innovative and patented version, entirely resorbable. It is based on the use of bidirectional cones, totally biocompatible and biodegradable, halfway between injections and lifting,\u00a0offering a unique anti-aging treatment to combat sagging facial contours and jowls<\/strong>.<\/p>

On one hand we have\u00a0the non-absorbable tensor sutures<\/strong>\u00a0which have disadvantages because they can migrate or at worst come out. On the other hand, we have the resorbable tensor threads, which are much safer because they are made from a material used in surgery.<\/p>

Their ease of use is appreciable because it takes only 30 minutes at the office to perform the treatment. The principle of their actions lies in the structure and composition of the threads, ensuring optimal anchoring, immediate and long-lasting effects, and preventing all risks of migration or extrusion.<\/p>

Over the weeks, the tensor threads degrade before disappearing in order to create a biostimulation\u00a0to restore volume<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0improve the quality of the skin durably<\/strong>.
They are intended for women and men<\/strong>\u00a0who mainly suffer from\u00a0a loss of tone and therefore a slackening of the contours and oval of the face (jowls) and the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines and furrows.<\/strong><\/p>

This phenomenon, which worsens with age and menopause, is mainly due to fat loss, bone erosion and muscle wasting, but also to the loss of certain skin components, including collagen.<\/p>

Unlike dermal fillers, which fill in and thus exert additional weight on already slackened tissue, absorbable threads can be used to treat different parts of the face, such as the cheekbones and cheeks, the oval of the face, the jowls, as well as the eyes and the neck.<\/p>

The technique for applying tensor threads varies according to the patient’s indication. One or more threads may be applied, depending on the morphology of the face and the area to be treated.<\/p>
