Peeling is a treatment involving the application of a cocktail of carefully dosed chemical substances (fruit acids, trichloroacetic acid) to the skin to exfoliate (gentle peeling) or abrade (medium and deep peeling) a very thin layer of the epidermis. The regeneration of the destroyed layers stimulates the production of elastic fibers and collagen to redensify the skin.
By tightening pores and reducing sebum production, peeling combats sun damage such as brown spots, blackheads and unwanted pigmentation such as pregnancy marks, as well as acne and scarring. It brightens the complexion and increases the elasticity of the skin.
