Cellfina is a treatment approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) that eliminates cellulite in a single session.
Cellfina improves the appearance of fibrous cellulite on the buttocks and the back of the thighs, with the exception of the subgluteal fold. The skin thus regains a perfectly smooth appearance without that unsightly orange peel effect.
Cellulite is caused by the accumulation of fat cells under the skin that increase in size and number. The multiplication of adipocytes is generally accompanied by a phenomenon of water retention and fibrosis.
→ Fibrous cellulite occurs when the collagen fibers present around the fat cells thicken and become rigid. The fat is then compressed and dimples appear giving the skin a wavy appearance.
This cellulite is very easy to recognize. It is visible at rest and it is hard and painful to the touch.
Whatever the setting of the intervention, during a workshop or a masterclass, the doctor will inform you beforehand about the techniques used, the different stages of the intervention, as well as the result you can expect.
